Short Version
Fanta*Sports Football Rules

We form eight (8) team leagues, made of individuals like yourself. Two divisions of four (4). You will draft a team of 28 players through a three phase “Ultimate” draft procedure.

Once the season begins, each week you will submit an “active” seventeen player line up, that consists of :

  • 2 QB’s
  • 3 RB’s
  • 5 WR’s
  • 1 TE
  • 2 Kickers
  • 2 Defensive Teams
  • 2 Special Teams
As you can see, this league rewards you for having depth beyond just the “super stars”. There isn’t an injured reserve list.

The players you acquire will ONLY belong to you. If you are lucky enough to have Emmitt Smith, then you are the only one to have him in your league. You may waive players and acquire players from the un drafted pool, for most of the season. You may also trade players to other teams in your league. Team Owner names, telephone numbers and EMail addresses will be given to you after the draft is completed, but BEFORE the season begins.

Scoring: Fanta*Points is a combination of touchdowns and yardage gained or passed. Defensive Team points are earned by what the whole team does defensively, such as points and yardage against. On Tuesdays we will produce a 10+ page report full of all the stats you wanted to see. In addition to these reports being mailed to you, they will be available at our WEB site.

For EACH league there are TWO championships to try for.
  • Total Point Championship -- Winner is determined by each team's year to date total of Fanta*Points for the whole year.

  • Head to Head Championship -- Head to Head matches each week, based on that week's Fanta*Points . It is a 14 game season with two rounds of playoffs to determine a winner.

Therefore you have TWO Championships to win and participate in. Fanta*Sports offers this two headed championship to smooth out the inequities of each method. A winner of both is truly a Champion.
